I was born in a little village on the Lake of Zurich, Mal 27th 1955.

At the age of 12-19 I was sent to the Abbey of Einsiedeln, to school. There I got first

interest in Photo's and Film.

After Einsiedeln I got a masters degree in economics and moved back to Einsiedeln and than Davos where I worked for several years as a ski instructor until I got discovered by a fashion photographer. I got great success and moved to Munich and after 1 year to New York where I worked as a model ( GQ Cover 1979 ) till 1987. Mid 1987 I started

professional photography with a double page in GQ for Nieman Markus.

1990 I moved to LA for 17 years and from there I traveled the whole world for european and american clients.

In LA I started to film and cut and made 18 video clips, sport, medical, profiles and politics.

Clients: GQ, Massiv, ELLE,Jardin des Modes, marie Clair, Cosmoplitan, Otto Catalog,

Miami Living, Champion USA, Chiemsee, SportScheckand a lot of small designers and Catalogs.

In 2001 I had a break do to a brain tumour. After a big struggle I made it back.

I started to do charity work ( WalkOklahoma City to LA for children research ), Portrait

show 501 portraits ( for tumour clinic in Basel ). book about the freelance workers 2011

all over the world.

Unfortunate 2011 I had an other set back, accident, hip replacement.

End of 2012 I opened a school in Basel for photography.

My photography started to change to Nature Wildlife Photography.

in 2016 my wife and I decided to move back to America, South Carolina.

There I do tours thru the marches and teach photography and filming.

Since 2016 I photograph and film Nature Wildlife Photography and work on concepts

for ad's, sport and fashion.
